im from the u.s. and dont know much about rugby, but do all teams have something like this or do the opposing teams make special arrangements for nz
Some other teams from the South Pacific also have a challenge like this (Fiji, Tonga, Samoa etc), so when one of these play the All Blacks there is a challenge issued from each team. Other countries like Australia, England, France etc dont have anything like our Haka.
The sound seems to be out of sync.
Just the Maori countries like New Zealand,Samoa,Fiji,Tonga and i believe the aborigines from Australia do one as well.

The Haka is a shame on NZ. It is barbaric and unsportsman like. Why officials allow it is a mystery. It has no place in Rugby. Get rid of it.
@robertjohnson487 maybe because they have been doing it for over a hundred years and its become an all black tradition. and even if the officials wanted to ban it, how could they stop the all blacks from performing it?

I’m not a Kiwi but I think the Haka, especially the Kapo O Pango version, is one of the great and unique aspects that sets rugby apart. Tradition in rugby needs to be revered. You’re entitled to your opinion but saying it has no place in rugby is like saying your national anthem has no place. Why deny a nation the chance to celebrate its culture especially when you don’t understand it
